April was recently voted as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Birmingham by BMetro Magazine.
April DeLuca graduated from Cumberland School of Law in May 2012 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar immediately thereafter in October 2012. April also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Public Accounting Option from Auburn University Montgomery. Prior to joining Magic City Law, LLC in December 2013, she worked as an Associate at FHL Capital Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama, where she performed legal and financial analysis on a variety of merger/acquisition transactions.
During her time at Cumberland, April achieved the Scholar of Merit for Bankruptcy, served as Vice President for Women In Law, served as Clerk for the Hull Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and participated in several moot court and mock trial competitions.
April is a certified Guardian ad Litem
and has served on the Board of Directors of the Clay House Children’s Center in Bessemer. Currently, April serves as the Second Vice-Chair for the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association, and Vice-Chair of the Solo/Small Firm Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. April enjoys being active in the Birmingham Bar Association, Bessemer Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Alabama Bar Association.
Through April’s financial background, April helps her clients on the road to financial stability in their lives going forward, especially when it comes to life after divorce. April has added a new dimension of financial security to the clients of Magic City Law, LLC. Further, April’s attention to financial detail is extremely important to any client needing a prenuptial, post nuptial, or settlement agreement.
April was born and raised in Prattville, Alabama. She is married to Jason DeLuca, and they have a daughter, Caroline, and a son, Elliott. She and her family enjoy exploring the Birmingham area.
